Chewie, we’re home
In what is the biggest thing since Star Wars released theatrically in 1977, Dad and I got our first Legion game under our belt! Well, this is momentous for me, since I wasn’t born yet in 1977. Wow, what a game. What an experience. I’ll preface here first that I’m jumping ahead in my blog chronological timeline, but I’ve now caught up to present day and this was too big an occasion to write about at a later date. Since my last post, there has mainly been terrain painting (since I had this weekend as a deadline), catching up on my ever increasing backlog (including those never ending stormtroopers) and the creation of our narrative campaign to which we commenced today. I will post about those in time to come. But I digress. As I mentioned, I drew up a narrative campaign for us to play as our first few battles. The idea was to keep it thematic but give Dad (and me too) a way to ease into the gameplay, rules and general all round understanding. I borrowed one of FFG’s campaigns (Silen...
